MAESTRO Hotel Management — the art of managing with excellence.

On November 1, Varna hosted the second plogging event of the 12-month cycle launched by KYB Corporation as part of its environmental project “Plums for Trash.” Dedicated to Black Sea Day, the event once again brought together residents, volunteers, and partners with a shared goal — to make the coastline cleaner and more enjoyable.
The KYB team, along with volunteers from Mi Razom, took part in the traditional beach cleanup organized for over 25 years by the Rodni Balkani Tourist Association. Split into small groups, participants cleaned the route from the end of the Galata district through the “Veteran” and “Chernomorets” shelters all the way to Pasha Dere beach. Together they collected 60 bags of waste, weighing over 250 kilograms, including plastic, packaging, and textiles. Thanks to their efforts, the beaches are once again clean, safe, and welcoming for visitors. All collected waste was sent for sorting and recycling.
As with the first event, the cleanup took place in a friendly and positive atmosphere. Adults and children spent the day outdoors and received a symbolic plum-shaped patch — a reference to the Bulgarian folk tale “Plums for Trash” and an encouragement to join future actions. After completing all 12 events, KYB will present a special award to the most active participant who collects the most “plums.”
“With every new initiative, we see more people getting involved — and that’s truly inspiring. The culture of responsibility and collective action for the common good is part of our corporate philosophy. For us, it’s not only about building modern homes but also about creating an environment where people enjoy living — clean, safe, and inspiring. We’re grateful to every Varna resident who helps make the city a better place,” said Oleh Nevzorov, founder of KYB Corporation.
The “Plums for Trash” project is a year-long cycle of sports and environmental initiatives in the plogging format — a combination of walking or running while collecting litter. Its aim is to promote ecological awareness, waste sorting, and care for the urban environment.
After the first two events, KYB volunteers have already cleaned more than 250 kg of waste from Varna’s popular tourist areas accumulated during the summer season. The first cleanup took place in the Golden Sands Nature Park, near the Aladzha Monastery.

In 2022, KYB Corporation began its operations in Bulgaria — a country that became a new point of growth and a space to realize the philosophy of responsible development. Over the past three years, the company has implemented a range of infrastructure, residential and social projects, gradually shaping a new urban quality in Varna and the region.
From the very beginning, KYB has focused not only on its own developments but also on improving the city environment. In partnership with the Municipality of Varna, the corporation financed road reconstruction on Georgi Boev and Sava Radulov streets, improving accessibility for residents and visitors. KYB also cleaned and landscaped the slope in the Alen Mak area, creating convenient paths to the sea and planting around 2,000 trees and shrubs, transforming the area into a pleasant green park.
In spring 2025, together with SkyUp Airlines, KYB launched the first direct flight from Chisinau to Varna, strengthening economic connectivity and opening new business opportunities across the Black Sea region. These initiatives, combined with KYB’s construction projects, helped attract over €420 million in foreign investment, create around 800 new jobs, and contribute tens of millions of euros in taxes to the Bulgarian economy.
People and the environment remain KYB’s top priorities. Through its eco-initiative “Slivi za smet” (Plums for Trash), the team combines sport and environmental action — collecting over a ton of waste for recycling. KYB has also initiated the creation of an innovative School of the Future in Varna, focusing on child development, cultural respect, and modern educational values.
“We came to Bulgaria not just as investors, but as partners — building trust, creating jobs, and shaping an environment where people truly want to live and work. Over these three years, KYB has become part of Bulgaria’s economic and cultural life — and we see this as both an honor and a responsibility,” said Oleh Nevzorov, founder of KYB Corporation.
The company’s close partnership with the “Mi Razom” Ukrainian Community has played a key role in supporting cultural events, humanitarian initiatives, and the integration of Ukrainians into Bulgarian society. During the natural disasters of autumn 2025, KYB provided material aid to the affected areas of Varna, reaffirming that social responsibility is at the core of the company’s values.
Today, KYB continues to develop new residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects in Varna, combining investment appeal, contemporary architecture, and human-oriented design. Bulgaria has become an integral part of this mission — and three successful years prove that responsible development truly has the power to transform cities and lives.
